Donald L. Olson, 79, died Monday, Oct. 19, 2009, at his residence in Blair.
Funeral services were Thursday at First United Methodist Church in Blair. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.
Donald L. Olson was born July 15, 1930, in Omaha to Theodore N. and Ida R. (Jensen) Olson. He attended elementary school at Pleasant View and graduated from Herman High School in 1947.
On Aug. 19, 1951, he married Norma Quist at First United Methodist Church in Blair.
He farmed his entire life, retiring numerous times and resuming farming later.
He is survived by his wife Norma; sons and daughters-in-law, Dean and Pat, Dale and Debbie; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Jim Kephart, all of Blair; five grandchidren, Daniel Olson, Kiley Frana, Jill Mason, Jody Olson, Konner Kephart; four great-grandchildren, Alex Olson, Wyatt Olson, Austin Frana, Hayden Frana; sister, Arlene Sonderup of Blair.
He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Merle Sonderup.
Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

SERVICES 10:30 am Thursday at First United Methodist Church in Blair, NE. VISITATION begins at 12 pm on Wednesday, at Campell-Aman Funeral Home, with family receiving friends from 6-8 pm. Memorials are to be directed to the family.
