Services were Monday, February 28 at St. Patrick’s Church in Omaha for Donald H. Crom, 71, who died February 24, 1994 at his home in Omaha. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

Donald H. Crom was born March 15, 1922 to Fred and Edna Crom in Tekamah.

He was a World War II veteran and retired from Cocoa-Cola Food Division/Butternut Coffee.

He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

He married Katherine Zaloudek August 16, 1941.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert and Floyd and sisters Molly Sklenar, Helen Golden and Hester Crom.

He is survived by his daughter and sons-in-law, Rita and Steve Laire of Schaumberg, Illinois, Rosalie and Joseph Hanson and Cecelia and Elmer Minshall, all of Omaha; one son, Claude Crom of Omaha; grandchildren and spouses, Steve and Cindi Laire of Fort Leonardwood, Missouri, Joshua Laire, of Quincy, Illinois, Wendy Laire of Macon, Missouri, Mary Hansen and Richard Joseph Lett, III; Monica and James Hansen, Dawn Minshall, Bud Minshall and William Minshall, all of Omaha; one great-grandson, Anthony Lett of Omaha; brothers, Harold of El Dorado, Kansas; Derald of Herman and Earl of Omaha and one sister Patricia Grieves of Amenia, North Dakota.

Dworak Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
