Cruikshank—In Omaha, April 22, 1894, of spinal meningitis, Cecil, only child of Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Cruikshank, aged 2 years, 2 months and 2 days.

Cecil was an exceptionally bright and interesting child, who untimely death was not only a severe affliction to the parents and immediate relatives, but was deplored by many friends of the family who knew her as a heavenly ray of light that flashed across the pathway of life but for a moment and is gone forever. The interment was from the family residence to Forest Lawn Cemetery.
