Mrs. Effie Cruickshank wife of James Cruickshank died Friday at her home in Florence. Besides her husband, she leaves three sister, Olive Gates, Margaret and Nell Haynes; and three brothers, Roy, Arthur and Earl, all of Springfield, Missouri. Mrs. Sherry Moore of Blair is a sister-in-law.

Mrs. Cruickshank had resided in Omaha many years. Services were held Monday afternoon at the Brailey & Dorrance chapel, with the pastor of the Florence Presbyterian church officiating. Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

MRS. JAMES CRUICKSHANK DIES

Blair friends and relatives were sorry to hear of the death of Mrs. James Cruickshank which occurred last Friday at her home in Florence. At her death she was sixty six years of age.

She had lived in Omaha since a girl, and there she met and married Mr. Cruickshank, and for many years they have made their home in Florence where Mr. Cruickshank has a position with the water department.

Besides the husband, she leaves three sisters and three brothers in Springfield, Missouri to mourn her death.

The funeral services were held Monday afternoon, and many of the old friends from Calhoun and Blair were in attendance.

The pallbearers are Walter Thatcher and son of Omaha, Mr. Ohman of Florence and Seymour L. Smith of Omaha.
