Henry Kruger Funeral Held

LIFETIME RESIDENT OF SPIKER RURAL COMMUNITY SUCCUMBS AT AGE 75

A lifetime resident of the Telbasta area west of Herman, Henry Kruger, 75, died Monday morning. He was ill at his home six weeks.

Funeral services were held yesterday at 2 p.m. at the Evangelical United Brethren Church at Telbasta, interment following in Telbasta Cemetery.

Son of Mr. and Mrs. William Kruger, early pioneers, Mr. Kruger was born Febr. 6, 1878, at Telbasta. He and Meta Hanke were married Mar. 20, 1907, and spent their entire married life in the Telbasta community.

Surviving Mr. Kruger are his wife, Meta; two sons, Ernest of Sioux City, and Harlan at home; and two daughters, Misses Esther and Ellen Kruger, both of Sioux City. There are two grand-children, Barbara and Beverly Kruger of Sioux City.
