James D. Kruger, 20

Services for James D. Kruger, 20 of Arlington who died February 25, 1994 at Memorial Community Hospital as a result of injuries received in an accident Friday at Blair will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 1 at First United Methodist Church in Fremont. Dr. Thomas Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery at Fremont.

James D. Kruger was born December 20, 1973 in the United States Naval Hospital on Guam, while his father was serving in the United States Air Force. When he was six weeks old, his family returned to the farm in rural Arlington, where he lived the rest of his life.

He attended Telbasta District 14 School from kindergarten through eighth grade. He then attended Arlington High School for one year before attending Logan View School his last three years. He graduated from Logan View in 1992.

In high school he was on the wrestling team and football team. He also played baseball in Hooper.

He attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for a semester. He then attended the North American Travel School in Omaha. He was employed by the ABC Corporate Services in Omaha.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Fremont where he was active in the youth group and work missions.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Norman Kruger.

His is survived by his parents, John and JaNelle Kruger of rural Arlington; two sisters, Sara Kruger, at home and Amy Beed who is attending college in Michigan; a brother, Ben Kruger at home; and his grandparents, Marijo Kruger of rural Arlington; Opal Trimble of Colorado and Clyde and Ethel Horrocks of Norfolk.

Memorials are suggested to his church.

Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont is in charge of arrangements.
