Helen Kruki, 75

Helen Kruki, 75, of New London, Ohio, died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009, at Fisher Titus Medical Center in Norwalk.

Funeral services were Wednesday, Jan. 7, at the Eastman Funeral Home in New London. Interment was in the Grove Street Cemetery, also in New London.

She was born June 28, 1933, in Omaha to Clarence and Florence (Millard) Christensen. Raised in Omaha, she graduated from Benson High School. She moved to New London in 1969.

Mrs. Kruki owned and operated Kruki’s Klothing in New London for many years. She was a member of the New London United Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her five sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Jovinna Kruki of Lake Forest, Calif., John and Jody Kruki of Howard, Ohio, Mike and Holly Kruki of Columbus, Ohio David Kruki and Jason and Mandi Kruki, all of New London; 13 grandchildren; siblings, Harold Christensen of Tarpon Springs, Fla., and Caroline and Harold Clary of Fort Calhoun.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William; a granddaughter, Leigha and a brother, Richard Christensen.
