Mrs. Emil Kruse died at the Swedish Mission hospital in Omaha Tuesday night of last week of heart trouble, from which she had been a sufferer for some time. The funeral was held at the Presbyterian church in Ft. Calhoun at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon, Rev. Luther Kurtz officiating. Mrs. Kruse was born in Ft. Calhoun February 4th, 1901, so wasn’t quite 20 years of age. She was married to Emil Kruse February 28, 1923, and besides her husband leaves a daughter nine months old. Also her mother, Mrs. Emma Ketchmark, who has charge of the Blair Telephone Co’s central station at Ft. Calhoun, two brothers, John and George Ketchmark, and three sisters, Mrs. Henry Mehrens, Minnie and Emily Ketchmark. The bereaved family have the sincere sympathy of many friends.
