Funeral services for Erma Kruse, 77, who died at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha, June 10, 1990, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 12 at the Herman Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Orvis officiating. Burial will be in the Herman Cemetery.

Erma M. Kruse was born on May 6, 1913 at Evening Shade, Missouri to Jasper and Rose Colgan Vaughn. She grew up in the Herman area and attended Herman High School.

In 1932 she married Howard Fink. He preceded her in death in 1974.

She later married Walter Kruse on November 15, 1980.

She was a member of the Herman American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Walter; one son, Donald Fink, and one daughter, Rosella (Mrs. LaMond) Knoell, both of Fremont Nebraska; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four stepchildren, Jane (Mrs. Steve) Linn, Herman; Bonnie (Mrs. Ted) Brodersen, Hastings, Nebraska; Eugene Kruse, Herman; Gary Kruse, Blair; two sisters, Ethel Frye and Patricia Comstock of Blair; and two brothers, Leo Vaughn, Tekamah, Nebraska and Floyd Vaughn of Blair.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
