Rites For Mrs. Paul Kruse May 11

Funeral services for Mrs. Paul Kruse of the Fort Calhoun area was held last Thursday, May 11th at the Ft. Calhoun Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Kruse, who maiden name was Frieda Marie Logemann, was born near Bennington October 18, 1898. She grew up in the Bennington area and was married to Paul Kruse in 1921. At about that time the couple moved to the Kruse family farm southwest of Ft. Calhoun and have lived there continuously. Four children were born to the couple.

She was a member of the Ft. Calhoun Presbyterian church and was active in church activities. She was a member of two social clubs as well as the Gingham Gals Extension Club.

She had undergone surgery January 9th and had failed to recover. She died Monday, May 8 at the Blair Hospital at the age of 68 years.

She is survived by her husband Paul, daughters: Mrs. Ray Kruse (Roberta) of Omaha, and Mrs. Richard Bull (Verna) of Blair. There are two sons, Harley of Harlan, Iowa and Mylon of Cedar Bluffs. There are 16 grandchildren. Three sisters survive. They are: Mrs. Meta Luschen of Bennington; Mrs. Columbus (Lena) Wulf of Blair, and Mrs. Matt Neu (Ann) of Elkhorn. Two brothers are Henry Logemann of Bennington and John Logemann, of Omaha.

The Rev. Keith Sackett conducted the services and burial, under the direction of the Sievers Mortuary was made in the Ft. Calhoun cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Walter Ohrt, Waldo Kruse, Otto Iverson, Marvin Heise, Lawrence Jacobsen and George Rohwer.
