MRS. HANS KRUSE DIES SUDDENLY

(Omaha Bee June 7)

Mrs. Hans Kruse, 623 North Sixteenth street, died at 10 o’clock last night at her home, while her husband was attending the initiation at Ak-Sar-Ben den, several blocks away.

Mrs. Kruse died suddenly. During the afternoon she had not felt well, but toward evening she began to feel better. When her husband offered to stay with her instead of going to the opening night of Ak-Sar-Ben activities, she insisted that he go on and enjoy himself, as she said she felt much better and was sure she would be all right.

Reluctantly, Mr. Kruse left the house and went to the den. When the show was nearly over, Everett Buckingham took the stage and announced a call for Mr. Kruse. The man went to the door to find a messenger who told him of his wife’s sudden death.

Mrs. Kruse was upstairs when she suddenly called for her adopted daughter to hurry to her. When the daughter reached her side she was breathing her last.
