KRUSE --- Warren “Bud”, age 71 yrs. Co. Bluffs, passed away 3/7/06. He began his teaching and coaching career at Shelby-Tennant, Hamburg, and Co. Bluffs Public Schools and 20 years at Iowa School for the Deaf. He retired in 1989 after 30 years of service. He served in the US Army from 1957-1959, He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Excelsior Lodge No. 259 AF & AM, Tangier Shrine, Scottish Rite, Botna Valley Shrine Club, and Rainbow Post No, 2 American Legion. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Sandra (Lamb) Kruse; daughter, Kristy and husband Tom Harm; sons, Brad and wife Hanne, Tom and wife Annette, all of Co. Bluffs; brother, Jim Kruse and wife Pat, of Alameda, CA; sisters, Sue and husband Roger Hemmingsen, Neola, IA, Marie Lindon and special friend Allen Havick, Shelby, IA, Virginia “Cookie” and husband Bob Johnson, Co. Bluffs; 11 grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Exvceisio Loge NO. 259 will conduct a MASONIC SERVICE Fri 6 pm, at Cutler-O’Neill-Meyer-Woodring Chapel, followed by VISITATION with family until 8 p.m. FUNERAL SERVICES Sat 10:30am at St. John Lutheran Church. Rev. E. Jon Benson, Pastor, will Officiate. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery, where Military Rites will be conducted by the American Legion. A luncheon will follow at St. John Lutheran Church. Memorials may be offered to the Church.
