William X. Kruse

Services for William X. Kruse, 76 of Bryan, Texas, who died September 29, 1993 in St. Joseph Hospital in Texas were October 1 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Rev. John McCaffrey officiated. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery.

William X. Kruse was born in Fairmont, Minnesota June 2, 1917. He moved to Nebraska at the age of three and lived around the Herman area for a number of years before moving to Bryan in 1955.

He was a parts manager at Brazos Machinery.

He served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4692; American Legion Post N. 159 and Disabled American Veterans Unit No. 200.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian of Bryan; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Peter Kruse and Robert and Sylvia Kruse, all of Bryan and Paul and Judi Kruse of Rockdale, Texas; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Susan Schoeneman of College Station, Texas; Margaret and Jack Finke of Carmine, Texas; Mary and Mike Krause of LaGrange, Texas and Janice Musgrove of Bryan; a brother, Walter Kruse of Herman; his mother, Clara Kruse of Blair and 12 grandchildren.
