Ruth F. Jensen, 90

Ruth F. Jensen 90, of Fort Calhoun, died Sunday, May 16, 2004, at the Life Care Center in Elkhorn.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 20, at the First United Methodist Church in Blair. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Visitation will be held beginning at noon on Wednesday, May 19, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Ruth F. Jensen was born July 6, 1913, in Blair to Milton and Jessie (Walters) Robinson. She was a graduate of Blair High School.

On Sept. 27, 1932, she married John G. Jensen.

Mrs. Jensen worked in Omaha for a short time, then worked in Blair at several different businesses.

She loved to play cards with her friends in both Omaha and Blair, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Blair.

She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Ila Newell, and Roma and Duane Lasher, all of Omaha; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; sister-in-law, Arlene Robinson, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John; son-in-law, Lee Newell; grandson, Steve Lasher; two brothers and one sisters.

Memorials are suggested to the First United Methodist Church of Life Care Center of Elkhorn.
