Rites Monday For Morris Spanton

Funeral services were held today (Monday) at the Campbell Mortuary for Morris Ralph Spanton, 54 years of age, who died Saturday at his home in Blair.

The Rev. Clair Olney officiated at the services. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Walker, Minn., following services Wednesday at Walker, where Mr. Spanton operated a resort.

Mr. Spanton is survived by his wife, Kathryn; daughters, Julie Kathryn and Rosemary, both of Blair; and Mrs. JoAnne Smith of Azuza, Calif.; brothers, Roy, Bert and Dwain Spanton all of Blair; Clyde of Boise, Idaho and Vern of Auburn, Calif.; sisters, Mrs. Velma Dennis of Blair, Mrs. Vail Wickham of Omaha, Grace Spanton of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Veoria Williams of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Vinta Shaw of Maryland; and three grandchildren.

Mr. Spanton was born May 31, 1905 at Bellevue, Nebr., the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Spanton.
