Richard A. Campbell, 64

Services for Richard “Dick” Campbell, who died at his home in Washington, Nebraska September 13, 1991 were Monday, September 16 at the Northwest Hills Church in Omaha. Military graveside services were held in the Prairie View Cemetery at Kennard, Nebraska.

Richard A. Campbell was born on August 17, 1927 at Mt. Ayr, Iowa to Edward and Minnie Reeves Campbell. He attended school at Mt. Ayr and served in the Navy during World War II. He was a member of the Bennington veterans of Foreign Wars post.

On November 5, 1944 he married Dorothy Reynolds at Mt. Ayr, Iowa. They resided in Mt. Ayr until moving to Omaha and in 1956 to Washington, Nebraska.

He was employed with the Lozier Company from 1964 until early retirement due to his health.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Orville, Howard, Oren, Earl and Lloyd, one infant brother and one infant sister.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, two sons and daughters-in-law, Merle and Pat Campbell, Washington and Richard and Diane Campbell, Holt, Missouri; four daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie Pleskac and Dixie Parrish, both of Blair, Carolyn and Kent Rohren, Lincoln and Beverly and Joe Bouslaugh, Ellis, Kansas; 16 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Effie Scheuneman, Des Moines, Iowa and Grace Wesner, California and sisters-in-law, Eleanor Campbell, Lillian Campbell and Dorothy Campbell.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
