Nancy J. Curley, 63, of Blair, died July 17, 2004, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair after a long fight with cancer.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2004, at First Christian Church in Blair. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Nancy J. Curley was born June 29, 1941, in Blair to Alfred and Ella Mae (Van Deusen) Jensen. She attended Blair High School, and graduated in 1958.

On March 25, 1960, she married Norman W. Curley at the First Christian Church in Blair.

Mrs. Curley was a site secretary for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission at the Fort Calhoun Nuclear Power Plant.

She enjoyed gardening, bowling and spending time with her grandsons. She kept in touch with her family using e-mail. Her love for her grandsons was even reflected by her choice of her e-mail address (grannyofmmsr), which used the first letter of each of their names. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to many. She was a lifelong member of First Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband, Norman; daughter, Nileeta Huber and friend, Doug Hall, of Bellevue; son and daughter-in-law, Noel and Beth Curley of Sanford, Fla.; four grandson; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Joyce Jensen of Lincoln and Robert and Mary Ann Jensen of Moville, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews, friends and co-workers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two half-sisters, Virginia and Odele; and a sister-in-law, Ilene Jensen.

Memorials are suggested to the First Christian Church Building Fund.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
