Billie L. Cushman formerly of Blair, Nebraska now of Cooperstown, North Dakota died suddenly on June 5, 1985, at the age of 56 years, and was buried at Cooperstown on June 8, 1985.

Mr. Cushman was born April 30, 1929 at Herman, Nebraska where he grew up and attended school at Blair. He joined the Air Force in 1952 and served in the Korean and Vietnam wars and retired from the Air Force in 1972 and then became associated with the Plaisted-Quam-Cushman Funeral Homes in Cooperstown and Finley, North Dakota. He also was an auctioneer.

He is survived by wife, Helen, son Rick, daughters Karen and Nancy of Cooperstown, North Dakota; two sisters, Leatha (Mrs. Earl Kahlandt) of Blair, Cora Maw of Corona, California; five brother, Rex of Flagstaff, Arizona, Ed of Newport, Nebraska, Oris of Omaha, Nebraska, Jan and Bob of San Diego, California.
