MAMIE CUSHMAN SERVICE ON OCT 7

Mrs. Mamie Cushman, of 1165 Colfax, passed away at the Methodist Hospital in Omaha on Wednesday, October 4th where she had been confined for the past week.

Mamie Margaret Stroh was born on November 21, 1893 at Hooper, and was 67 years of age at the time of her death. Her husband, Tom Cushman died on March 17, 1947.

She is survived by three daughter and six sons. All will be present at the funeral services at the First Methodist Church at Blair at 2 P.M. on Saturday, October 7th. The Rev. Dale Westadt will officiate.

Her nine children are: Mrs. Cora Maw of Corona, California, Mrs. Nora Farmer of Scio, Oregon, Mrs. Leitha Kahlandt of Blair, Jay C. and Robert of San Diego, California, Oris of Denver, Bill of Anchorage, Alaska, Edward and Rex of Blair. Eighteen grandchildren also survive, and two brothers, Louis Stroh of Omaha and Alfred Stroh of Hooper.

The Bendorf Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery northwest of Blair.
