Ernest Kubie Died of Heart Attack Thurs.

Funeral Held Monday At Blair Congregational Church

Funeral services were held today (Monday) for Ernest Kubie, 74 years of age, 1444 South Street, who died July 4 of a heart attack.

The services were held at the Congregational Church, the Rev. Clair Olney officiating, with interment in Blair Cemetery.

Mr. Kubie is survived by his wife, Hermine; three sons, Meredith, Reynold and Richard Kubie, all of Blair; three daughters, Mrs. Gene Thomas (Isabelle), Mrs. Harland Warrick (Vivienne), both of Blair and Mrs. Ray Lookofsky (Harriet) of Los Angeles, Calif.; and nine grandchildren.

Another son, Laurence, died at the age of two years.

Mr. Kubie was born April 10, 1889 in Germany. He came to this country with his parents when he was a few months old and has lived in Washington County ever since. He farmed until he retired and moved to Blair.

Pallbearers were Howard Kubie, Vernon Kubie and Einar Hansen of Blair; Raymond Kubie of Lincoln, Curt Behrendt and Kenneth Kubie of Herman.

Campbell Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
