MRS. HERMINE MARIE KUBIE DIED THURSDAY

Mrs. Hermine Marie Kubie, a lifetime resident of Blair, died here Thursday, October 31st. Mrs. Kubie, who lived at 1444 South street, was 74.

She was a daughter of the late Herman Ollerman, prominent Blair jeweler for many years and remembered by many of the older residents. She was born at Blair July 7th, 1894, she grew to womanhood here, attended Blair schools and made this her home her entire life. She was the widow of the late Ernest Kubie who preceded her in death a number of years ago.

Mrs. Kubie is survived by six sons and daughters, most of whom live in this immediate vicinity.

A daughter, Mrs. Harriet Lookofsky, resides in Los Angeles, California. All of the others live at Blair. Other daughters are Mrs. Vivienne Warrick and Mrs. Isabelle Thomas, both of Blair. There are three sons: Reynold Kubie, Meredith Kubie and Richard Kubie, all of Blair. One son died in infancy.

A sister, Miss Agnes Ollerman and a brother, Frederick Ollerman, both live in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Funeral services were held at the Congregational Church in Blair on Friday, November 1st with the Rev. James Warn conducting the service. Burial, under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary was made in the Blair cemetery.
