Mrs. Raymond (Jeanne Taylor) Kuehl passed away Wednesday morning (January 10) at the Blair Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 13, at 10:30 a.m. at the Blair Baptist Church. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Services Will Be Saturday For Jeanne Kuehl

Jeanne Marie Kuehl (Taylor) died Wednesday, January 10th at the Blair Hospital. She was born January 9, 1926 at Blair and died at the age of 53 years. She is survived by her husband Raymond of Blair, 4 children and eight grandchildren.

The children are: Bruce Rasmussen, of Tekamah, Rebecca Rasmussen of Blair, Mary Long of Blair, Valorie Jensen of Blair.

Also surviving is her mother, Mrs. Adeline Taylor of Blair. Three brothers: William Taylor of Oakland, James and Stanley Taylor of Blair, and a sister, Mrs. Peggy Anderson of Blair.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Blair. Burial will be at the Rose Hill Cemetery. Pastor will be Jim Metzgar and Campbell Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.

Services Held For Jeanne Marie Kuehl

Services were held Saturday, January 13 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist church for Jeanne Marie Kuehl. Pallbearers were cousins Doug Taylor and Howard Taylor, Jr., and nephews Brad Taylor, Bill Taylor Jr., Kenny Taylor and Calvin Taylor. The Rev. James Metzgar officiated. Interment was at the Rose Hill Cemetery.

Jeanne Kuehl was born January 9, 1926, and passed away January 10, 1979 after a short illness. She was born in Washington County, the first-born child of Harold and Adeline Taylor.

She is survived by her husband, Ray Kuehl of Blair; by her four children, Mary, Mrs. Wesley Long, Rebecca Rasmussen of Blair, Valerie, Mrs. Rodney Jensen of Blair and Bruce Rasmussen of Tekamah. By her mother, Mrs. Adeline Taylor of Blair, three brothers, Bill Taylor of Oakland, Jim Taylor and Stan Taylor of Blair, and one sister, Peggy Anderson of Blair. Twelve grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and two step-children, Fred Gilson of Omaha and Sharon Barrera of California.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Taylor and her brother Donald.

Jeanne graduated from Blair High School in 1943 and from Dana College in 1961 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She taught in rural school in Washington, Burt and Dodge Counties from 1945 to 1961. In 1961 she began teaching in the Omaha Public Schools, at Sherman School for 15 years and Belvedere School for 2 ½ years until the time of her death.

She was a member of the Eagles Club and was serving as President of the VFW Auxiliary. She was a life-time member of the PTA and a member of the National Education Associating and the Omaha Education Association.
