Rudolph Kuhl Rites Wednesday at Ft. Calhoun

Funeral services were held at Ft. Calhoun Wednesday for Rudolph Fritz Kuhl, long-time farmer of the Kennard area who died at the Blair Hospital, Monday, May 6th. He was 86 years of age, having been born near Omaha February 24, 1888.

He was married to Meta Wulbern December 22, 1915 and the couple farmed near Kennard for thirty years. They moved to Blair in March, 1944 and have made this their home since that time. They lived at 2054 Front Street.

He is survived by his wife, Meta, by a sister, Mrs. Minnie Klabunde, of Omaha and by three brothers. They are William of North Platte, Louis and Paul, both of Omaha.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Ft. Calhoun Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Keith Sackett conducting the service. Burial, under the direction of the Sievers Mortuary, was made in the Ft. Calhoun cemetery.
