Vivian V. Kuhl, 79

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20 at the First Lutheran Church in Blair for Vivian V. Kuhl, 79 of Blair who died at Methodist Hospital in Omaha Dec. 16, 1996. Burial will be in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. Thursday.

Vivian V. Sullivan Kuhl was born April 4, 1917 in Little Rock, Ark. to James and Hattie Sullivan. She graduated from Sylvan High School in north Little Rock. She married Herman Kuhl Nov. 25, 1945 at Little Rock.

They moved to Blair in 1945 and farmed south of Blair for 48 years. In addition to helping on the farm, Vivian also cooked at the Blair Marina.

She was active in the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and First Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Jim Kelly and Harvey Kelly and two brothers, Aubrey Sullivan and Ed Seebacher.

She is survived by her husband, Herman; five sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Sandy Kuhl of Herman; Ed and Diane Kuhl of Blair; Ronald and Michele Kuhl of Escondido, Calif.; Herman and Virginia Kuhl of Gardnerville, Nev. And Tom and Emilie Kelly of Blair; 19 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and two sisters-in-law, Ruth Seebacher of Little Rock, Ark. and Rita Sullivan of Hot Springs, Ark.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
