Wayne H. Kuhl, 51, of Fremont, died Friday, Sept. 17, 1999 at Memorial Hospital in Schuyler.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Visitation is Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the services.

Military graveside services will be conducted by the Fremont Honor Guard of VFW Post #854 and the American Legion Post #20 at Ridge Cemetery in Fremont.

Wayne H. Kuhl was born June 30, 1948 in Wahoo. He moved to Blair in 1956 and was a 1967 graduate of Blair High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1967 to 1971 during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Thailand. He worked for Ackerland Farms near Valley, and then worked for Patt’s Rental. He managed the Columbus store for the past 10 years. He married Mary Larsen in Fremont on March 20, 1999.

He is survived by his wife Mary; three sons, Jesse Kuhl and David LeCrone, both of Fremont; and Matthew LeCrone, of Columbus; two daughters, Andrea Phifer and Melissa Knapp of Fremont; parents, Emil and Henrietta Kuhl of Blair; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Vernon and Janet Kuhl of Bennington; Irwin and Diane Kuhl; David and Ann Kuhl and Rod and Paula Kuhl, all of Blair; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Beverly Recoy of Fremont; Linda and Jack Hinrichsen of Pawnee City; and Brenda and David Stone of Omaha; one grandchild; and one brother-in-law, Neal Gaul of Earling, Iowa.

Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont is in charge of arrangements.
