William H. Kuhl, 78

Services for William H. Kuhl, 78 of Blair who died June 14, 1996 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home were Monday, June 17 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Chapel. Rev. Kenneth Jensen officiated. Burial was at the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

William Kuhl was born April 28, 1918 to Henry and Mary Steffen Kuhl at Elkhorn, Nebraska. He attended school at Irvington, District No. 20, west of Florence and Fairview.

He served in the Army during World War II.

He farmed prior to and after serving in the military.

He resided in Douglas Washington Counties his entire life.

He was a member of the Herman American Legion Post No. 0274.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Katherine Micheel.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy and brothers, Hans Kuhl, Herman Kuhl and Emil Kuhl, all of Blair.
