Mrs. Kuhls Funeral Held

ARLINGTON NATIVE, 84, BURIED AFTER RITES AT IMMANUEL LUTHERAN

Mrs. Louise Anna Kuhls, 84, of Fremont, widow of Henry Kuhls and long a Washington County resident, died at her home in Fremont last Wednesday.

There were brief services at the Latin and Dugan Funeral Home in Fremont Saturday at 1:15 p.m. followed at 2 p.m. by rites at Immanuel Lutheran Church in the northwest corner of Washington County. The Rev. E. Eckhardt officiated, with burial following in the church cemetery.

Louise Anna Stork, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Casper Stork, was born Nov. 28, 1870, at Arlington. She and Henry Kuhls were married Mar. 10, 1897, by the Rev. John Hilgendorf of Arlington. Her husband died in 1950; two sons also preceded her in death.

She spent all of her life in Washington County until moving to Fremont four years ago.

Survivors include two sons, Paul and Walter Kuhls, both of Herman; and three daughters Mrs. Hulda Bartling and Miss Viola Kuhls, both of Fremont, and Miss Esther Kuhls of Omaha. There are six brothers, Henry and Julius Stork of Fremont, Rudolph Stork of Nickerson, Gustav Stork of Hooper, and Albert and Marlin Stork, both of Arlington; and a sister, Mrs. Ella? Dunklau of Arlington. Also surviving are four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
