Funeral services for LeRoy Kuhr, age 78 of Blair, who died at Memorial Community Hospital November 1, 1990, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 5, at the Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery with Dr. Howard Bailey officiating.

LeRoy Carl Kuhr was born on February 19, 1912 at Blair, Nebraska, to George and Mary Hansen Kuhr. He attended the Rosehill and Lincoln School.

On February 19, 1941, he married Jane Wilkins at Fremont, Nebraska. They farmed south and east of Orum, on the family farm.

In 1978, he retired from farming and in 1984 moved to their present home in Blair. He had served on the Lincoln School board for nine years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters Viola and Mary and by one brother Harvey.

He is survived by his wife Jane; one son Larry and two grandsons Terry and Timmy, all of Blair; two sisters Amanda Kahnk, Fremont, Nebraska and Opal Ruwe, Blair and two brothers, Lloyd Kuhr and Raymond Kuhr, both of Blair. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
