Services for Lloyd Kuhr, age 80 of Blair, who died at Memorial Community Hospital January 13, 1991 will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 17, 1991 at Immanuel Lutheran Church at Orum. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery. Rev. Chris Beyer will officiate at the services.

Lloyd C. Kuhr was born on April 26, 1910 in rural Blair, Nebraska, to George and Mary “Hansen” Kuhr. He attended the Lincoln and Rose Hill Schools.

On April 6, 1946, he married Neva Frain at Blair, Nebraska.

He farmed in the Orum area until his retirement in 1979. They resided on the farm until moving to Blair in 1987.

He served on the Lincoln School Board and was past trustee and treasurer for the Immanuel Lutheran Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Harvey and Leroy; and by one sister, Viola.

Surviving him is his wife, Neva; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Ann and Steve Hultman, Crescent, Iowa and Sherry and Richard Harlow, Omaha, Nebraska; one son, Steven Kuhr, Wichita, Kansas; four grandchildren, Rainbow, Ian and Brady Hultman and Amanda Harlow. He is also survived by two sisters, Amanda Kahnk, Fremont, Nebraska and Opal Ruwe, Blair, and one brother, Raymond Kuhr, Blair, Nebraska.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
