Beryl (Gamble) Lazure

The funeral of Mrs. Chas. Lazure was held from the home of her grandparents in Tekamah last Friday and conducted by Father O’Driscoll of this city. Her maiden name was Beyrle Gamble and she was married to Mr. Lazure about two years ago and besides the husband leaves a baby about eight months old. She was operated on recently for appendicitis and had been in the hospital for about six weeks. Among those who attended the funeral from this neighborhood were: Messrs. and Mesdames Adolph, Pat and Ernest Lazure; Jerry Foley, Jim Cruikshank, Miss Laura Coupal of Benson, Joe, Therese and Margaret Lazure and Mike Foley.

Note: The Vig Files at the Danish American Archives has recorded that she died and is buried in Tekamah and her grandfather was Newton Gamble of Tekamah. She is survived by her husband Charles. See Find a Grave # 36131536 for Bazil Newton Lazure. It records his parents as being Beryl Gamble-Lazure and Charles B. Lazure.
