Garyld “Kus” Kuster

Garyld “Kus” Kuster, 57, of Blair, died Dec. 18, 2002. Funeral services were Dec. 21 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Interment was in the Blair Cemetery.

Garyld “Kus” Kuster was born April 15, 1945, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He was baptized on April 16, 1945.

He attended country school for one year, then completed his elementary education in Persia, Iowa. He graduated from Tri-Center High School in 1963.

He attended Dana College, where he met his wife, Kathy Niemeyer. The couple was married on July 11, 1967.

Mr. Kuster served for two years in the military. He returned to the Blair area in May, 1970, and began working in the paint room at Kelly Ryan Equipment Company. He had retired in January of 2002 due to ill health.

Memorials are suggested to the Blair Parks Department.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
