Richard C. McNeil, born April 28, 1933, passed away peacefully in the warmth of his family's love on September 12, 2015.

Preceded in death by parents Charles and Josephine (Sadler) McNeil and brother James McNeil.

Survived by his wife of 61 years, Sharon C. (McMahon) McNeil and his 10 children: Mary McNeil, Pat McNeil (Sharon), Maggie McNeil, Chip McNeil, Barney McNeil (Julie), Francie McNeil (Jason Glanzer), John McNeil (Julie), Jane McNeil (Jeff Rohr), Hannah McNeil (Jason Vogt), Betsy Bilau (Chris Bilau); 25 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Wake Service celebrating his life was held on Wednesday, September 16 at the West Center Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, September 17 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Omaha. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial donations to Stephen Center Shelter.

Arrangements were handled by Heafey-Hoffman-Dworak-Cutler West Center Chapel, W. Center Rd., Omaha.
