Rosemary Nelson, age 83, of Blair, Nebraska, passed away on September 21, 2015. Rosemary worked many years at the Good Shepherd Home in Blair, NE, prior to retirement in 2004. Rosemary dedicated her life to her children and her grandchildren no matter their endeavor. She loved to play cards (only when she won), watch sporting events and spent her time bragging about her family’s latest achievements.

Survived by Kathy (Gary) Bahm of Mondamin, IA, Kristy (Tom) Hoffman of Lincoln, NE, Kelly (Dan) Boston of Olathe, KS, Karla (Barry) Moore of Elkhorn, NE, Karol (Norman) Svoboda of Blair, NE, Grandchildren; Blake, Zak and Lindsey Moore, Lauren Boston, Morgan (Riley) Gross, Nicole and Tommy Hoffman, and two step-grandchildren; Chris (Katie) Bahm and Nikki (Donny) Slaby, two great-grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Catherine Nelson of St. Edward, NE, and Eleanor (Wendell) Philmalee of Maple Grove, MN, and many nieces and nephews.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband Donald Nelson, her parents Charles and Mary Heldt, her brother Norold Heldt, and brother-in-law Dale Nelson.

Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 24, with family receiving family and friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service held at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held Friday, September 25, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair, Nebraska. Family requests memorials to be sent to St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church and the Crowell Memorial Home.
