Lawrence J. “Larry” Aurora, 71, died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009.

Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009, at the John A. Gentleman Mortuary, 1010 N. 72nd Street, Omaha, and St. Leo the Great Church in Omaha at 10 a.m. Interment will be in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Omaha.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, at the mortuary, with a wake service at 7:30 p.m.

Lawrence J. Aurora was born April 30, 1938.

He is survived by his wife, Ann; children and spouses, Kevin Aurora, Vicki and Jeff Lindley, Coleen and Jay Jensen, Steven and Donna Aurora; grandchildren, P.J., Jason (Jenni), Laura, Drew, Tori, Vincent, Kirsten, Christian and Matt; sisters, Marcelline McCowan, Christine (Norm) Barnes; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, John, and his parents.
