MRS. TOM LEEHY DIED SUNDAY AFTER LINGERING ILLNESS

Mrs. Tom Leehy, well-known young Blair housewife and mother, died last Sunday at Memorial Community Hospital following a lingering illness. Mrs. Leehy had been afflicted with cancer and she had been under physician’s care for a number of weeks.

Cleone Elizabeth Leehy was born at Norfolk, Nebraska July 17, 1937 and was 31 years of age at the time of her death. The Leehy family had been living at Beaver Crossing, Nebraska where her husband was a member of the Beaver Crossing City Schools faculty. Early in her married life, she had lived in Blair with her husband.

She is survived by her husband, Tom Leehy, who is a native of Blair, and by a family of seven small children. They are Charlotte Ann, Maureen, Mary, Rayn, Brendan, Patrick and Kevin.

Also surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Percy Anderson of Norfolk, Nebraska and two brothers, Dale Forsyth, of Anaheim, California and Delbert Forsyth, of Norfolk, Nebraska.

Rosary was held Tuesday evening at Campbell Mortuary and burial services were carried out at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church Wednesday morning at 10 A. M. Father Patrick Nolan conducted the service and burial was made in Holy Cross cemetery at Blair.
