Funeral services for Marie Austin, 48, of Omaha, who died in Omaha, November 14, 1990, were held Monday, November 19, at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Omaha, with burial in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Blair.

Marie E. Schneider was born on November 29, 1941, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Sylvan E. and Viola LaTour Schneider. She graduated from North High School in 1959.

On April 27, 1985, she married Rodney Austin in Omaha. For the last number of years Marie owned and operated the Midlands Insurance Agency in Omaha.

She was preceded in death by her mother and brother, William.

She is survived by her husband, Rodney; two children, Kimberly (Mrs. David) Neumann and Steven R. Paulsen, both of Omaha, Nebraska; her father, Sylvan E. Schneider, Omaha; two brothers, Sylvan E. Schneider, Jr., Sylvar, California and Charles E. Schneider, Kansas City, Missouri; and by one sister, Lou Schneider, Omaha, Nebraska. Two grandsons, Benjamin James Neumann and Adam David Neumann also survive her.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
