PATRICK LEEHY IS BURIED ON SATURDAY

Funeral services for Patrick Francis Leehy, 79, were held Saturday, November 15, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. Rev. Daniel Galas conducted the services. Burial was in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Omaha.

Patrick Francis Leehy was born in Omaha, Nebraska on November 20, 1900 to John and Ellen Fitzgerald Leehy. He spent most of his earlier years in the Garry Owens area, moving to Blair in 1969 from Omaha. He worked for Cudahy Foods and resided at Blair Apartments at the time of his death in Memorial Community Hospital in Blair on November 12, 1980.

One brother and one sister preceded him in death.

He is survived by one sister-in-law, Mrs. John Leehy; six nephews, Jack Leehy, Norfolk, Nebraska; Jim Leehy, Blair; Tom Leehy, Gretna, Nebraska; Rich Leehy, Bennington; Larry Leehy, Plano, Texas; and Mike Leehy, Omaha; and one niece, Margaret Trauernicht of Omaha.

Sheila Pille was organist.

Pallbearers were Jack Leehy, Jim Leehy, Tom Leehy, Rich Leehy, Larry Leehy and Mike Leehy.

Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the services.
