SERVICES HELD FOR IDA OLSON

Funeral services were Saturday, August 6, at First Lutheran Church for Ida Rasmina Olson, 76, who died August 3, 1983.

The Rev. Kurt Sortland officiated. Burial was in Blair Cemetery.

Ida Rasmina Jensen was born June 19, 1907, in Blair to Carl and Caroline Christensen Jensen. She grew up south of Blair and attended Long Creek School and later Dana College. Prior to her marriage, she worked for the Lutheran Publishing House in Blair.

She married Theodore N. Olson on February 23, 1927.

She was a member of Bench Community Club for 55 years and the Sunshine Club for over 20 years. She was also a member of Long Creek School Association.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore, on September 7, 1980.

She is survived by her children, Arlene (Mrs. Merle) Sonderup, Blair; and Donald Olson, Blair. Seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Edna Francisco, Blair, also survive her.

Pallbearers were Leigh MacDonald, Carroll Olson, Clarence Olson, Jr., Lloyd Olson, Raymond Olson and Vernon Olson.

Clare Cowing and Cheryl Baron provided the music.

Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
