Oscar Bertelsen

Oscar Bertelsen, of Washington, Nebraska passed away Sept.21, 1928 at the Swedish Mission Hospital after an illness of but a few days duration at the age of twenty- three years.

He leaves to mourn his death two sisters Mrs. Chris Matthiesen, of California and Agnes at home besides the grief stricken parents.

The funeral services were held at the Lutheran church in Washington Sunday with Rev. Knud Larsen officiating. The pallbearers were John Johnson, Jr., Paul Larsen, Leonard Mangold, Albert Sunds, Herman Kruse and Ben Gottsch.

Interment was made in the Prairie View cemetery.
