Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, at First Lutheran Church for Clara Kruse, age 104 of Blair, who died at Memorial Community Hospital July 10, 1994. Burial will be in the Herman Cemetery.

Clara Kruse was born April 18, 1890 at Swendborg, Denmark, to Hans and Marie Nelson Bonde Christensen. She came to America from Denmark at the age of 19.

She lived the greatest part of her life in the Herman, Nebraska area, with a few years spent in Fremont and Elkhorn.

In September of 1910 she married Peter Kruse in Blair. He preceded her in death in March of 1946.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by four children, Edna Potter, Norma West, William Kruse and Gerald Kruse.

Surviving her in death is her son Walter Kruse of Herman and 96 descendants, including her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
