Services for Nellie May Kuhns, 91, of Rock Port, Missouri who died June 12, 1994 at the Pleasant View Rest Home in Rock Port were Wednesday, June 15 at the Rock Port Baptist Church in Rock Port. Burial was in the Hamburg, Iowa Cemetery.

Nellie May Kuhns was born April 3, 1903 in Dunbar, Nebraska to Albert and Alice Hall.

She married Ruford W. Kuhns in Nebraska City, Nebraska on January 31, 1923.

She was a member of the Rock Port Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Tarkio Book Club, the Young at Heart Club in Tarkio, Missouri and the neighborhood Bible study group in Rock Port.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; one son, Bobby Dale Kuhns and two daughters, Dorothy Louis Kuhns and Hazel Campbell.

She is survived by two sons, David Kuhns and Lonnie Kuhns, both of Rock Port; two daughters, Cathy Walker of Jefferson City, Missouri and Helen Bowen of Rock Port and formerly of Blair; one brother; four sisters; 10 grandchildren, including Mike Bowen and Rick Bowen, both of Blair and Gary Bowen of Carson, Iowa; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grand-daughter.
