Arthur D. Kuhr, 76, Died At Hospital Wednesday, Dec. 11

Arthur D. Kuhr, a lifelong farmer in the Orum vicinity, died at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair last Wednesday, December 11th.

Mr. Kuhr was 76 years of age, having been born at Orum on February 7th, 1898. He spent his entire life on the same farm.

He is survived by his wife, Della and by a daughter, Ethel, who is Mrs. Lyle Rogers, of Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska. There are four grandchildren.

Three sisters and a brother all reside in the Blair area. The sisters are Mrs. Harold Rasmussen (Anne); Mrs. Ella Arp, Mrs. Martha Madsen. The brother is Albert Kuhr of Blair.

Funeral services were held at the Immanual Lutheran Church at Orum Saturday afternoon, December 14th. The Rev. Joseph Myers, pastor of the church, conducted the service. Burial was made in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home of Blair.

Pallbearers were nephews of the deceased. They were Ralph Madsen, Howard Loftis, Vernon Arp, Everett Holstein, David Kuhr and Fred Wild.
