Funeral services were Tuesday, January 30 at the Fremont Alliance Church for Viola Kuhr, 85 of Fremont who died January 27, 1990 at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County in Fremont. Rev. Eddie Masters officiated. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Viola Kuhr was born November 6, 1904 to George H. and Mary S. Hansen Kuhr on the family farm west of Blair where she grew up. At the age of 19, she moved to Chicago to study business and secretarial skills.

She retired after 41 years as an administrative assistant with a Chicago realty firm. She came to Fremont 12 years ago to live with her sister.

She was active in the Fremont Alliance Church.

She is survived by three brothers, Raymond, Lloyd and LeRoy Kuhr, all of Blair; and two sisters, Opal Ruwe of Blair and Amanda Kahnk of Fremont.

Ludvigsen Mortuary was in charge of arrangements for the services.
