SERVICES ARE HELD MONDAY FOR DR. OLSON

Funeral services were held Monday, January 21, at First Methodist Church in Blair for Dr. Milton C. Olson of Blair who died January 17, 1980, at the age of 65. Rev. Gordon Patterson officiated at the 2 p.m. service. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Milton C. Olson was born July 10, 1914, at Detroit Lakes, Michigan, to Charley S. and Ella Lindlad Olson. On November 14, 1942, he married Esther Nelson.

He served his country during World War II from August 8, 1942 to May 25, 1946. In 1947, he moved to Blair. He started his dental practice at that time.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, American Legion, V.F.W., A.D.A. & A. N.A. and the Lions Club. He was the first president of the Eagles Club and was a past president of the Blair School Board.

He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

He is survived by his wife, Esther of Blair; two sons, Robert Olson and James Olson, both of Blair; and one daughter, Mrs. Dave (Linda) Fuhrman of Florissant, Missouri. Four grandchildren, two sisters, Elvira Blais, Loma Linda, California, Beatrice Hyde, Portland, Oregon; and two brothers, Henry Olson, Paradise, California, and Harold Olson of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, also survive him.

Active pallbearers were Emil Fuhrman, Walter Nieman, Harold Rabbas, Dr. D.R.Ehlers, Ed Ferris, and Raymond Wilson.

Honorary Pallbearers were Raymond Hansen, Wm. J. Money, Wm. Hardy, Joe Taylor, Ivan Larsen, Wm. Plugge, Gordon Vinton, Keith Vinton, Harold Wright, Stuart Maurer, Dr. Frank Williams, and Dr. Kenneth C. Christensen.

Bette Kirk was organist fo the services.

Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the services.
