Mr. and Mrs. Donald Fleming and Mr. and Mrs. George Boschult attended the funeral of Ed Ave at Iowa City, Iowa last Friday.

Mr. Ave worked in Washington County on the construction of the Immanuel Lutheran church a number of years ago. Later he was employed at the Oahe dam in South Dakota and then became an engineer for the South Dakota Highway department. He died of a heart attack. He is survived by his wife, 4 sons and 2 daughters.
