Roy F. Betts, 47

Roy F. Betts 47 years of age, Council Bluffs, Iowa, died suddenly Saturday evening of a heart attack, while visiting in Blair.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church, the Rev. M. Anderson officiating, with interment in Blair Cemetery.

Mr. Betts was born Feb, 27, 1917 at Osmond, Nebraska. Since 1947 he has served as printing foreman at the Stockman Journal, in South Omaha. He is a veteran of World War II.

Mr. Betts is survived by his wife, Lucille; mother, Mrs. Henry Betts of Blair; sons, Norman LeRoy of Van Buren, Ark.; Rodger Allan and Donald Lee, both of Council Bluffs; brothers, William and Elmer Betts, both of Blair, Andrew Betts of Council Bluffs and Floyd Betts of California; sisters, Mrs. Tom Smith; (Dora) of Blair, Mrs. Emmett; Steffan (Marie) of Blair, Mrs. Earl McMurtrie (Clara) of California, and Mrs. Albert Edie (Avis) of Council Bluffs.

Campbell Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
