Mrs. Roger Sundell Rites Here Last Friday Afternoon

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Roger Sundell, a resident of the former McCarthy District southeast of Blair, who had died November 27th at an Omaha hospital. Mrs. Sundell had been in failing health for several years. She was 36 years of age.

Dorothy May Sundell was born in Omaha on December 8, 1937. She grew to womanhood in that city. She was married to Roger Sundell, a technician for the Singer Business Machines, Inc., with offices in Omaha. Five years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Sundell purchased a five-acre tract and built a new home southeast of Blair.

The deceased was the mother of four children, all of whom are at home. They are Don, Bob, Sheri and Rick.

In addition to her husband and children, she is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Dorothy Johannes, of Omaha and by four brothers and three sisters. She also has two half-brothers and two half-sisters.

The brothers are Bob Hughes, of Springfield, Nebraska; Ronald Hughes, of Gretna; David Johannes, of Colorado, and Daniel Johannes of Omaha.

The sisters are Mrs. Bonnie Marchese, of Omaha; Mrs. Esther Bare, of Carter Lake, and Mrs. Linda Richardson, of California.

Funeral services were held at the First Lutheran Church Friday afternoon, with the Rev. Robert Albers conducting the service. Burial, under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary, was made in the Blair Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Burton Christpherson, Richard Norgard, Gerald Kobs, Mark Allen, Lawrence Jacobsen and John Urek.
