A. Sutherland Dies at Home

Abe Sutherland, Born in Blair, Farmed Here For Many Years

Abram J. (Abe) Sutherland, 74 years of age, died at his home at 58 South First St. in Blair Sunday evening.

Mr. Sutherland was born in Blair Nov. 9, 1883, (error: Nov. 27, 1883 by his tombstone) and was a well-known Washington County farmer. His parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. John H. Sutherland. His wife died in 1955.

Mr. Sutherland is survived by two sons, Hugh and John Sutherland, both of Blair; one sister, Mrs. Belle Lamb of Blair; two brothers, William Sutherland of San Antonio, Tex., and Marion Sutherland of Ojai, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Campbell Mortuary is in charge of arrangements, which have not been completed.
