Elaine Jordan, age 83, passed away after a short illness on October 24th at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair Nebraska.

Elaine was born June 21, 1932, in Sioux City Iowa and was raised in Moorhead Iowa with her parents Chester and Mary Blackman. She married Stanley Jordan in 1952 and had one daughter, Sheryl. She has resided in Fort Calhoun since 1967. She always loved a manicured lawn and enjoyed doing her bible studies and Lawrence Welk.

Elaine is survived by her daughter Sheryl and husband Mike Biffar of Blair, granddaughter Kristin (Marvin) Rodriguez of Sioux City, Iowa, grandson Jared (Elle) Biffar of Lincoln, Nebraska, one brother-in-law Lyle Jordan of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and 3 great-grandchildren Max, Kailee, and Mya Rodriguez. She is preceded in death by husband Stanley Jordan and her parents Chester and Mary Blackman. Memorials are suggested to be sent to Christ Lutheran Church in Blair Nebraska or to the Nebraska Humane Society.

Services will be held on Friday Oct 30th at 11:00 a.m. at Sievers-Sprick Funeral home in Fort Calhoun Nebraska. Visitation will be held Thursday October 29th with family from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. at the Sievers-Sprick funeral home.
