SERVICES FOR MRS. FRED OPFER WERE HELD MONDAY

Mrs. Fred (Ellen) Opfer, 60, died Thursday night at a Fremont hospital.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church north of Arlington. The Rev. Ernest Eckhardt officiated.

Mrs. Opfer was born June 10, 1915, in Stockham, Nebraska. She had lived here since 1943. Mrs. Opfer was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Reckmeyer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She married Frederick Opfer, January 9, 1935, in Stockham, Nebraska.

Survivors include her widower; sons, Martin, Washington, Larry, Elkhorn, Marvin, Millard, and Dallas, Blair; daughters, Mrs. Victor (Janet) Romans, Fremont; Mrs. William (Audrey) Schockey, Seneca, Kan., and Miss Beverly Opfer, Arlington; mother, Mrs. Margaret Willcock, Aurora; brothers, Elvin, Falls Church, Va., Edwin, Omaha, and Elton, Hastings; sister, Mrs. Charles (Eve) Byrnes, Imperial Beach, Calif.; 12 grandchildrn, five step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren.
